Job summary

Aging Best is seeking a Home Delivered Meal Program Coordinator to oversee route management, client care, and daily program operations in Jefferson City, MO. You will report to the HDM Director and work with the warehouse team to support Meals on Wheels volunteers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least four years of relevant experience in food service, warehouse, or community relations. Some travel and lifting up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Four years practical experience in one or more of the following areas: food service, warehouse, fleet management, shipping/receiving, social service, or community relations.
• Physical: Moderate physical activity; ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50lbs; mobility for motor vehicle operation.
• Travel: Moderate travel within the region and occasional travel outside the region.
• Legal: Background checks required (criminal, driving record, sexual predator list, MO employee disqualification).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Aging Best home delivered meal routes and update client information in the management system.
• Conduct initial/annual nutrition risk assessments for HDM clients.
• Enter data so services listed and information documented in the system.
• Address concerns from HDM clients, families, or the public promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Coordinator to support Meals on Wheels volunteers.
• Assist in warehouse operations and program expansion activities.
• Identify efficiency improvements and promote process innovation.
• Recruit participants, volunteers, and promote program awareness in the community.
