Job summary

The Home Delivered Meals Coordinator at Carter Burden Network oversees daily HDM operations from the Luncheon Club, coordinating intake, eligibility, route planning, and volunteer scheduling to ensure timely, nutritious meals for homebound seniors.

You will work with program leadership, volunteers, and drivers to maintain compliance with NYC Aging and CMOW standards, lead safety trainings, and prepare monthly reports, while staying compassionate and detail-oriented in a busy, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in program coordination, meal delivery, or social service environments.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the Home Delivered Meals (HDM) program, including intake, eligibility assessment, and reassessments.
• Prepare monthly reports and assist in funder documentation.
• Lead delivery crews in team-building, training sessions, and safety meetings.
