Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Driver Class B - SCM to deliver food and related products, operating straight trucks within intrastate/interstate routes. You will be the face of the company, ensuring timely delivery and professional customer interactions.

The role requires timely loading/unloading, regulatory compliance, and accurate paperwork. The position reports to the distribution team, offers a starting pay of $70,000+ per year, and includes a Tuesday–Friday work week with early 4am–6am

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Valid Class-B license and must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Operates straight trucks intrastate and interstate to deliver food products.
• Conducts pre/post trip safety inspections per DOT rules and company standards.
• Verifies deliveries with customers and obtains proper signatures.
• Loads/unloads freight and maintains required paperwork accurately.
• Maintains safe driving and completes daily hours of service records per regulations.
