Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-B Driver to deliver food and related products across intrastate and interstate routes, including OTR, shuttle, and overnight runs. You are the face of the company, ensuring on-time delivery and professional interactions with customers

The role requires a valid CDL-B with air brake endorsement, a clean MVR, and compliance with DOT and company safety policies. Benefits begin Day 1, with opportunities for growth within the food distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Valid CDL-B.
• Must have Air brake endorsement.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight.

Responsibilities

• Performs all required safety checks (i.e., pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations; reports safety issues and/or repairs.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; inspects trailer for loaded freight.
• Delivers customer orders according to route schedule; verifies delivery with customer signatures.
• Unloads products and moves them to designated storage areas; completes required paperwork.
• Maintains daily hours of service logs per federal and company requirements.
