Ernst Concrete is hiring a delivery driver to transport ready-mix concrete to construction sites. You will perform safe loading, inspect vehicles, review tickets, and coordinate with dispatchers to ensure accurate deliveries.

The role requires CDL-A/B, English proficiency, and a proven safe driving record. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining trucks, handling COD deliveries, and complying with DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid State Driver’s License, Class A or B.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment background check, MVR overview, physical/DOT, and drug/alcohol testing.
• Proficient read/write/speak English.
• GPS reading ability from company tablet.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Maintain driving record per regulations.
• Active phone for reliable communication during work hours.
• Proven safe driving record; no unexplained gaps in employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites; perform safe loading/unloading.
• Perform daily DOT inspections and vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Review delivery tickets for addresses and additional products; coordinate with dispatcher.
• Attach additives per ticket and verify slump and mix.
• Place chutes and manage delivery operations on site.
• Ensure ticket is signed and information recorded; handle COD deliveries.
• Wash truck after unloading and communicate with dispatchers throughout delivery.
• Refuel and maintain vehicle readiness, including after shifts.
