Job summary

Ernst Concrete in Ohio is seeking a delivery driver to transport ready-mix concrete and related products to construction sites. You will perform daily safety inspections, assist with maintenance, and ensure accurate documentation at each stop.

The role requires reading and following delivery tickets, coordinating with dispatch, and maintaining safe driving practices while handling heavy loads. Long hours and DOT-compliant operations are possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid State-Issued Driver’s License, Class A or B.
• Pre-employment checks including background, MVR, physical/DOT, and drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily truck inspections (pre/post-trip) and ensure fluids are checked.
• Maintain and clean vehicle; assist with equipment and general tasks as needed.
• Receive and verify delivery tickets; clarify needs with dispatcher.
