Job summary

Ernst Concrete is hiring a Delivery Driver to transport ready-mix concrete to construction sites and support operations with safe, on-time deliveries. You will inspect trucks, review tickets, and ensure proper documentation while maintaining strong communication with dispatchers.

The role requires a valid license, DOT compliance, and a commitment to safety, quality, and punctuality. You will operate in various weather conditions and work flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid State Driver’s License, Class A or B.
• Pre-employment background check, MVR, physical/DOT, and drug/alcohol testing.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• GPS reading from company tablet.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Adherence to safety protocols and PPE.
• No unexplained gaps in employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites.
• Perform daily truck inspections and basic maintenance.
• Review delivery tickets for addresses and quantities.
• Add ingredients per delivery ticket; check slump.
• Refuel and wash truck after unloading; communicate with dispatch.
• Maintain safety and DOT compliance.
