Job summary

Ernst Concrete is hiring a delivery driver to transport ready-mix concrete and related products to construction sites within our production area. You will perform daily truck inspections, load and verify delivery tickets, and communicate with dispatchers to ensure accurate orders.

The role requires a valid CDL, a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and willingness to work long hours, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid State Driver's License (Class A or B) required.
• Pre-employment background checks, MVR overview, physical/DOT, and drug/alcohol testing.
• Proficient read/write/speak English.
• Ability to read GPS and communicate with dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ready-mix concrete and related products to construction sites.
• Perform daily DOT pre- and post-trip truck inspections.
• Review delivery tickets for addresses and products; confirm details with dispatch.
• Add required admixtures and adjust mix as directed.
• Inspect slump and concrete mixture; ensure proper placement.
