Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking full-time pickup and delivery drivers in Houston, TX. You will safely operate commercial vehicles, load/unload freight, and maintain compliance with DOT rules while building strong customer relations.

The role requires a Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, at least one year of driving experience, and the ability to pass DOT drug tests and physicals. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class A Interstate CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements.
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, with/without assistance.
• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading and receipts.
• Maintain records required for compliance with regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers and operate landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
