Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a full-time Pick-up and Delivery Driver in Texas to safely operate commercial motor vehicles and deliver freight on time.

You will load/unload, document shipments, and maintain compliance with DOT regulations while building professional relations with customers. Requirements include a Class A CDL with Hazmat and double/triple endorsements, at least one year of driving experience, and the ability to pass DOT screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat and double/triple endorsements.
• Minimum of one year of driving experience.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Read, write, speak and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, with or without assistance.
• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading and receipts.
• Maintain records for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers, raise/lower landing gear, and inspect equipment for defects.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
