Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A local shuttle driver based in Fall River, MA. You will shuttle refrigerated trailers between MA and CT with no-touch, drop-and-hook freight and wake up to a home-daily schedule.

Average annual pay is around $70,000 with a $5,000 bonus and weekly pay projections. Start at the Fall River yard with potential trips to Westfield and Milford/West Haven relay yards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck-driving experience.
• Clean driving record and a valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Reliable transportation to Fall River yard.
• Must perform pre-trip inspections and inspect tractor/trailer tires.
• Must operate safely and help with store deliveries as needed.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle frozen-grocery loads between Westfield, MA and relay yards in Milford or West Haven, CT.
• Home daily, no-touch, drop-and-hook freight.
• May assist with store transfers and trailer moves.
