Job summary

Small Potato Trucking in Fall River, MA seeks a CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver to operate refrigerated shuttle trailers on a dedicated frozen-grocery account. Home daily, no-touch freight, slip-seat operation, and trucks cannot be taken home.

Shifts start around 3:00–4:00 PM with Mon–Fri or Tue–Thu options. Average pay around $70,000 per year plus a $5,000 bonus on top. Yard: 485 Commerce Drive; relays to Milford/West Haven CT; minimum 3 shuttles daily, with more possible.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and have at least 3 months of verifiable truck driving experience.
• Maintain a clean driving record and hold a valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers; be able to perform pre-trip inspections and operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate refrigerated shuttle trailers on a dedicated frozen-grocery route with no-touch freight.
• Shuttle loads between Westfield, MA and relay yards in Milford or West Haven CT; some local deliveries.
• Minimum 3 shuttles per day, with 5–10 possible depending on destination.
• Assist with store transfers, trailer moves, local backhauls and supermarket deliveries as needed.
• Deliveries may involve 2–3 stops per trailer; unload with electric pallet-jack and handle backhauls.
• No NYC deliveries; slip-seat operation; trucks cannot be taken home.
