Job summary

Salt City Trucking in Fall River, MA is seeking a CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver to operate a dedicated frozen grocery shuttle account. You will shuttle loads between Westfield, MA and relay yards in Milford, CT or West Haven, CT with drop-and-hook, no-touch freight and no NYC deliveries.

Expect roughly 500 miles per week and 5–10 shuttle runs per day (minimum 3). A $5,000 bonus is included, with average annual pay around $70,000.

Qualifications

Valid CDL-A license required.
Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.
Clean driving record and DOT Medical Card.
No SAP drivers.
Reliable transportation to and from work daily.
Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and inspect tractor/trailer tires.
Operate safely and legally at all times.
Strong customer service skills.
Willingness to assist with store deliveries and other account needs.

Responsibilities

Dedicated frozen grocery shuttle account.
Shuttle loads between Westfield, MA and relay yards in Milford, CT or West Haven, CT.
Drop & hook with no-touch freight.
Typically 5–10 shuttle runs per day, minimum 3.
May handle trailer moves, store transfers, and local backhauls.
No NYC deliveries for shuttle drivers.
Store deliveries may be required with 2–3 stops.
May assist with other local/intermodal accounts.
Occasional return product and backhaul pickups.
