AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is hiring Pick-up and Delivery Drivers to ensure on-time, damage-free freight delivery. Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, fueling, loading/unloading, and maintaining regulatory records.

The role emphasizes customer relations and safety in a full-time environment with comprehensive benefits. Requirements include a Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, at least one year of driving experience, and successful DOT screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years or older.
• Class A Interstate Commercial Drivers' License with hazardous materials and double/triple endorsements.
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.
• Pass ACT road test.
• Flexible Hours.
• Ability to be certified as a forklift operator.
• Familiarity with proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Perform duties per company policies and comply with regulations governing a safe work environment.
• Read, write, speak and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock.
• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading, delivery receipts and tally sheets.
• Maintain records required for compliance with regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers and manage landing gear operations.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform all other work related duties as assigned.

Education
