Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking full-time Pick-up and Delivery Drivers to safely operate commercial vehicles and deliver freight on time, while keeping customers informed and satisfied.

The role requires a Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of driving experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, life insurance, PTO, and more, with consistent home time.

Qualifications

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Read, write, speak and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, with or without assistance.
• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading, delivery receipts and tally sheets.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors and raise/lower landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform all other work related duties as assigned.
