Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide functional rehabilitation in home and community settings. You will work autonomously and as part of a dynamic team to enhance patient outcomes through tailored treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in practice state.
• Current CPR Certification.
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient’s needs to the treatment team and family.
• Ensure collaboration and coordination of care.

Skills

Effective communication skills

Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Experience with complex neurological diagnoses

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
