Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to deliver rehabilitation services outside of institutional settings. This role allows for autonomy and offers a flexible schedule, providing care in home, school, and workplace environments. The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor’s degree, an unrestricted PT license, and effective communication skills. Join a collaborative team to support patients recovering from brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, or strokes, aiming for improved functional skills and independence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification.
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a physical therapist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Re-assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings.
• Perform discharge evaluations and make recommendations.
• Communicate patient’s needs to the treatment team and family.

Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques

Ability to lift 50 pounds
