Job summary

Senior Helpers (US) is seeking a dedicated Home Care Worker to support clients with ADLs and iADLs in Santa Ana, CA. The role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours and a meaningful opportunity to help clients maintain independence at home.

The ideal candidate will have compassion, reliable communication, and the ability to follow care plans. You may receive a signing bonus after 100 hours, plus health insurance, retirement benefits, and other perks.

Qualifications

• Active California HCA registration or willingness to complete the registration process.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Able to assist with mobility and transfers; push/pull up to 50 lbs and lift up to 30 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required; background check and drug screening may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Provide incontinence care and transfer assistance.
• Support IADLs including meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Provide medication reminders and transportation to appointments.
• Offer companionship and emotional support; follow care plans to maintain client safety and independence.

Home Care Worker - ADL & iADL Support

Santa Ana, CA Full-Time / Part-Time Available

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Provide incontinence care and transfer assistance
• Support IADLs including meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and grocery shopping
• Provide medication reminders and transportation to appointments
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Follow care plans and help maintain client safety and independence

What You'll Do

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility

What We're Looking For

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with ADLs and IADLs is a plus
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and dependable
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Available to work weekday daytime shifts and weekends, with flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs.

• Able to work independently and follow care plans
• CNA or HCA certification preferred, but not required

Pay & Benefits

• $19-$25 per hour (paid biweekly via direct deposit)
• $300 signing bonus after completing 100 hours
