Senior Helpers in Santa Ana, CA is seeking Home Care Workers to provide ADL and iADL support to seniors at home. You will assist with bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation to appointments, while focusing on safety and independence.

You will offer companionship, follow care plans, document care activities, and maintain compassionate communication. Flexible part-time or full-time schedules, paid training, and benefits are available to support your growth in

Qualifications

• Active California HCA registration or willingness to complete the registration process.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Able to assist with mobility and transfers.
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Flexible availability, including some weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Home Care Worker - ADL & iADL Support

Santa Ana, CA Full-Time / Part-Time Available

Job Responsibilities

As a caregiver, you will provide personalized support to seniors and individuals who need assistance maintaining comfort, safety, and independence at home.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Provide incontinence care and transfer assistance
• Support IADLs including meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and grocery shopping
• Provide medication reminders and transportation to appointments
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Follow care plans and help maintain client safety and independence

What We’re Looking For

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with ADLs and IADLs is a plus
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and dependable
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Able to work independently and follow care plans
• CNA or HCA certification preferred, but not required

Pay & Benefits

• $18-$25 per hour (paid biweekly via direct deposit)
• $300 signing bonus after completing 100 hours
• 5 sick days plus holiday pay
