Job summary

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred/required.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required before independent visits.
- Maine driver's license and reliable transportation; travel within region may be required.
Responsibilities
- Plans and delivers home-based speech-language pathology services.
- Performs initial exam, sets goals and plans for reevaluation.
- Evaluates progress and adjusts treatment to maximize benefits.
- Maintains accurate documentation including billing in EMR.
- Provides supervision for students and home health aides.
- Collaborates with physicians, patients and families for care planning.
- Discharges when goals achieved and develops discharge plans.
