Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Maine is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a per diem opportunity performing home health visits in Kennebunk and surrounding towns. The role involves evaluating and treating clients with speech, language, and swallowing issues in their homes; you will work with a multidisciplinary team and document in EMR. Licensure in Maine and ASHA CCC-SLP or equivalent are required or in process; prior home care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maine
• ASHA CCC-SLP or equivalent credential or in the process to obtain certification
• Solid computer skills; prior EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform evaluations to diagnose and provide therapy for speech, language, swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and update treatment plans based on evaluations and physician orders.
• Educate patients and families to promote health, safety, and independent living.
• Document observations and interventions in an EMR system.
