Ambercare/Addus HomeCare in Espanola, NM seeks a Service Coordinator to lead scheduling for in-home care workers, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality service for older adults and people with disabilities.

The role involves managing client updates, conducting wellness checks, and ensuring care plans stay on track in a fast-paced environment. Prior supervision or home care experience is preferred, with full-time in-office hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of industry experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage staff schedules and adjust due to requests, illness or leave.
• Provide alternate coverage to follow care plans.
• Contact care providers and clients for service updates.
• Perform monthly client wellness calls and in-home visits as needed.
• Handle escalated client complaints and theft claims with follow-through.
• Supervise direct service staff and enforce policies.
• Maintain professional, tidy branch environment.
• Protect confidentiality and ensure attendance and reliability.
• Comply with MCO, Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations.
