ComForCare Home Care is seeking an Assistant Scheduler to support the Lead Scheduler in coordinating daily caregiver and client schedules. This on-site, part-time role in McLean, VA offers a calm, organized presence to keep operations running smoothly and ensure high-quality client care.

You will handle scheduling, communications with caregivers and clients, and general administrative tasks while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort with scheduling software, Microsoft Office 365, or Google Workspace.
• Ability to problem-solve and stay calm when handling last minute changes.
• Experience in scheduling, home care, or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Lead Scheduler with daily caregiver and client schedule coordination.
• Answering incoming calls with professionalism, warmth, and a solutions‑focused mindset.
• Helping manage schedule changes, shift updates, and urgent staffing needs.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and client/caregiver records.
• Communicating clearly with caregivers, clients, and office staff.
• Supporting general administrative tasks that keep the office running smoothly.
