Job summary

ComForCare Home Care is seeking a Scheduler to oversee client service schedules and coordinate staff assignments in a part-time role. You will monitor overtime, ensure compliant coverage, and maintain confidentiality of client and employee information while supporting high-quality in-home care.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, scheduling experience, and the ability to manage shifts and respond to staffing needs with reliability and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Experience in staffing or scheduling preferred.
• Ability to pick up shifts beyond scheduled hours.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and manage high call volumes.
• Professional interpersonal skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client service schedules and coordinate staff assignments.
• Monitor overtime and mileage records for staff.
• Direct care staff to ensure safe, effective coverage of client needs.
• Maintain adequate on-call staffing levels.

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, this is a MUST
• Previous experience in staffing or as a scheduler
• Ability to pick up shifts for more hours outside of scheduling
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to handle high call/messaging volume

What you will be doing:

• Maintain schedules for services requested by clients
• Monitor overtime and mileage records of employees
• Provides direction to direct care employees to ensure safe and effective coverage of client needs
• Maintain adequate numbers of available on-call staff
• Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job, respecting client and employee records

Salary Range:

• $20/Hr-$22/HR
