Job summary

Visiting Angels Marmora is seeking a Home Care Scheduler to ensure seamless client care scheduling and reliable caregiver assignments. You will balance calendars, vacations, and last-minute changes to keep visits consistent and clients supported.

In this role, you’ll build shifts two weeks out, monitor PTO, and communicate updates to caregivers and managers. A tech-savvy, empathetic communicator with strong attention to detail will thrive in our people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as a home-care scheduler, staffing coordinator, or dispatcher.
• Proficient with scheduling platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Empathy and diplomacy in urgent calls.
• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in healthcare admin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Master the Schedule: Build and confirm all client shifts at least two weeks ahead; track PTO and client requests in real time.
• Right Caregiver, Right Client: Match skills, proximity, and personalities to ensure quality and continuity.
• Tackle Emergencies Gracefully: Maintain an up-to-date on-call list and secure coverage within minutes.
• Keep Everyone Informed: Send updates to caregivers, clients, and managers via phone, text, and scheduling software.
• Support Growth: Assist HR with new-hire onboarding and share feedback to strengthen retention.
