Duties

• Coordinate and schedule home care visits for clients, ensuring optimal coverage and caregiver availability
• Communicate proactively with caregivers to confirm and address scheduling needs
• Maintain accurate records of caregiver assignments, and scheduling changes using electronic systems
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure compliance with State regulation policies and agency standards

• Assist with onboarding new caregivers by providing scheduling information and orientation support

Skills

• Proven experience in homecare scheduling, preferably within home health or homecare.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) for documentation and communication purposes
• Knowledge of health regulation policies related to home care services and patient privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA compliance)
• Familiarity with client management software, EMR/EHR systems, and electronic health records management tools (WELLSKY)
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and client correspondence
• Understanding of medical terminology relevant to home care services
• Ability to type accurately and efficiently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
