Job summary

Perfect Care Inc. in Greenwich, CT seeks a dedicated Recovery Assistant to provide home care services in participants' homes. Responsibilities include 15-minute recovery sessions, helping with meals, grooming, hygiene, and basic household tasks to support independence.

You will support engagement in social and medical activities, assist with medications if prescribed, escort to appointments, and participate in Recovery Plan updates with DMHAS and the participant.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 yrs. old.
• Possess at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Possess a valid Connecticut driver's license or state ID; be registered with DMHAS and have completed an approved Recovery Assistant training program.

Responsibilities

• Provide 15-minute Recovery Assistant services in participants' homes and in community settings.
• Assist with meals, shopping, housekeeping, dressing, personal grooming, and hygiene tasks.
• Encourage participation in family, social, and recreational activities.
• Assist with medications as prescribed and monitor health needs.
• Escort to appointments and participate in Recovery Plan meetings with DMHAS as requested.
• Travel with participant when Recovery Assistant is engaged in a qualifying waiver activity.
