Job summary

Perfect Care Inc. is seeking a compassionate Recovery Assistant to support individuals at home in Bethel, CT. Hours vary according to the Recovery Plan.

You will help with daily tasks, personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, while encouraging participation in community activities and coordinating with DMHAS.

A valid CT driver's license and completed Recovery Assistant training are required, along with a background check and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 yrs old.
• Possess at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Possess a valid Connecticut driver’s license or state ID and be registered with DMHAS with completed Recovery Assistant training.
• Criminal Background check conducted within six months of application and meet continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide Recovery Assistant services of at least 15 minutes in the participant’s home and other community settings.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, dressing, personal grooming and hygiene.
• Encourage participation in family, social and recreational activities; use of community supports.
• Support medication use as prescribed and health routines.
• Attend Recovery Plan development and update meetings when requested.
• Travel with a participant for waiver service activities as needed.
