Job summary

BrioHR Pte Ltd is seeking a part-time Home Care CNA in St. Joseph, MI. The role covers 24 hours per week with Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, plus one weekday shift. Travel within Berrien County is required.

You will work closely with the Home Care Supervisor to deliver compassionate, person-centered in-home care. Requirements include 1 year of relevant experience, Michigan driver's license, and optional CNA certification. CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of prior experience with frail or elderly individuals.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• CNA certification, desired.
• Completion of the Participant Care Assistant (PCA) program at PACE of Southwest Michigan or equivalent.
• Current CPR or BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and operate in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care in the home, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support mealtime by helping participants enjoy meals and stay hydrated.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Perform vital checks and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Maintain comforts and assist with housekeeping tasks such as laundry and grocery shopping.
• Provide responsive support with kindness and compassion.
• Monitor changes and report to leadership promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Compensation: $19.38 - $21.39 / hour

Description

Schedule: 24 hours per week | This position works 8:00 AM–4:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday, plus one weekday shift. Wednesday is preferred for the weekday shift, but the weekday may be negotiable based on availability.

Travel Requirements: This role involves regular travel providing Home- Based Care in Berrien County.
What You’ll Do:
The Home Care Participant Care Assistant (CNA) provides essential in-home care and assistance to participants enrolled in the PACE program. You will work closely with the Home Care Supervisor to deliver compassionate, person-centered care and support activities of daily living. From assisting with daily activities to providing comfort and companionship, your work will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Hands-On Care in Their Home – Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support Mealtime– Help participants enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
• Keep Things Moving – Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Perform Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Maintain Comfort & Care – Support housekeeping tasks such as laundry, sweeping, and grocery shopping.
• Provide Responsive Support – Handle cares and respond with kindness and compassion.
• Monitor with Watchful Eyes – Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
• Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
