Job summary

BrioHR Pte Ltd is seeking a Day Center Participant Care Assistant, CNA in St. Joseph, MI.

The role involves delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to participants in the PACE program, with a 40-hour workweek from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, at the Day Center in Southwest Michigan. You will work with a team to assist with ADLs, provide meals and hydration support, monitor vital signs, and ensure a safe, respectful environment for frail or elderly participants.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required.
• One year of prior experience with frail or elderly individuals.
• Completion of the PCA program at PACE of Southwest Michigan or equivalent training.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Current CPR or BLS certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care including ADLs (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Support mealtime and hydration for participants.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
• Perform vital checks and record vital signs, weight, intake/output.
• Maintain comfortable, well-stocked rooms and supplies.
• Provide responsive care with kindness and compassion.
• Monitor changes and report to leadership ASAP.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.

The CNA certified Participant Care Assistant (PCA) in the day center provides essential care and assistance to participants enrolled in the PACE program. You will work closely with the team to deliver compassionate, person-centered care and support activities of daily living. From assisting with ADLs to providing comfort and companionship, your work will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Hands-On Care – Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support Mealtime– Help participants enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
• Keep Things Moving – Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Perform Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Maintain Comfort & Care – Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
• Provide Responsive Support – Handle cares and respond with kindness and compassion.
• Monitor with Watchful Eyes – Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
• Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
