Job summary

Mercy Home Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated sales lead to build our private-pay home care line from the ground up and hire a team as growth milestones are hit. The role offers a $75,000 base salary with an uncapped bonus and a first-year target of about $55,000, totaling roughly $130,000 at target.

This is a full-time, field-based role across the Denver metro with some evening/weekend meetings. You will own the private-pay pipeline, place veterans through VA programs, and build

• 2+ years of outside sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the private-pay line: pipeline, numbers, and results and start care.
• Place eligible veterans through VA Homemaker and Home Health Aide programs.
• Build relationships with social workers and case managers at hospitals to reach families on Medicaid.
• Work a tiered referral plan with discharge planners, elder law attorneys, care managers, senior living communities, and VA social workers.
• Call new leads back within 60 minutes and coordinate with AI assistant for after-hours inquiries.
• Track referrals, conversions, and stalled leads on the sales dashboard and report weekly.

Job description

Build Mercy's private-pay home care line from the ground up, then hire and lead its team as you hit growth milestones.

$75,000 base salary + uncapped bonus (first-year bonus target about $55,000). Full-time, mostly weekday daytime hours with some evening or weekend family meetings, field-based across the Denver metro. Apply with your résumé; no cover letter needed.

As our dedicated sales hire, you will grow three client groups: private-pay families, veterans. The scripts, referral plan, and dashboard are built. You run them.

What You Will Do

• Own the private-pay line: pipeline, numbers, and results. Win clients from referral visit to in-home family meeting to start of care, backed by a 48-hour start-of-care promise. Two service levels: standard and concierge (memory care and neuromuscular conditions, higher weekly hours).
• Place eligible veterans through the VA Homemaker and Home Health Aide program under VA Community Care.
• Build relationships with social workers and case managers at Colorado children's hospitals to reach families of children on Medicaid.
• Work a tiered referral plan with hospital discharge planners, elder law attorneys, geriatric care managers, senior living communities, and VA social workers.
• Call every new lead back within 60 minutes. An AI phone and text assistant books after-hours inquiries, so your calls start warm.
• Track referrals, conversions, and stalled leads on the sales dashboard, and report to the owner weekly.

What You Get

• $75,000 base salary.
• Uncapped bonus on every client you start and on the private-pay and VA business you add. First-year target about $55,000, or about $130,000 total at target (a target, not a guarantee).
• Your own team: hit your growth milestones and you hire, train, and lead liaisons, with an override on their production.

Who You Are

• 2+ years of outside sales, business or consumer. Home care, home health, hospice, senior living, or healthcare referral experience is a strong plus, not required.
• As comfortable in a family's living room as in a hospital discharge office.
• You win on speed: fast callbacks, fast start dates. You like clear targets and a weekly scoreboard.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for daily travel across different sources of referrals.
• Spanish is a plus.
