Job summary

Right at Home in Fresno, CA is seeking caring caregivers to provide non-medical home care to seniors and others in need. Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, mobility assistance and companionship, with a focus on safety and independence in the client's home.

We offer orientation and ongoing development, a positive work environment, and opportunities for advancement through leadership access and team recognition.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• English reading, writing and speaking as needed for the job
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Ability to pass a full employment background check
• HCA Registration (we can assist at offer of employment)
• TB Skin test (TB test accepted if not older than 90 days)

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities of daily living (e.g., dressing/grooming)
• Ambulation/transfers (lift up to 50 lbs)
• Prepares meals and snacks per instructions
• Accompany patient to errands or medical appointments
• Performs light housekeeping activities
• Medication reminders
• Care of bed-bound clients
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts, slide boards and Hoyer lifts
• Provide companionship

A homecare aide provides for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. A homemaker/companion provide non-medical home care which include: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more!
Our goal is to help our senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home.

We are hiring care providers who have ALL the skills and experience with:

Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.

The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.

Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and short shifts (3-5 hours)

Essential Responsibilities:

Performs personal care activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
Assist with Dressing/Grooming
