Job summary

Right at Home Fresno is hiring compassionate home care aides to support seniors in remaining independent at home. You will provide personal care, companionship, and non-medical assistance with daily living tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Must pass a full employment background check.
• HCA Registration (we can assist at offer).
• TB Skin test (within the last 90 days acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities of daily living, including dressing and grooming.
• Ambulation/transfers (up to 50 lbs).
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs light housekeeping activities.
• Medication reminders.
• Care of bed-bound clients.
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts, slide boards and hoyer lifts.
• Provide companionship.

A homecare aide provides for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. A homemaker/companion provide non-medical home care which include: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more!

We are hiring care providers who have ALL the skills and experience with:

Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.

The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.

Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and short shifts (3-5 hours)

Essential Responsibilities:

Performs personal care activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
Assist with Dressing/Grooming

Ambulation/Transfers (be able to lift 50 lbs)

Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments

Performs light housekeeping activities

Medication reminders

Care of bed-bound clients

Use lifting equipment such as Gait Belts, Slide Boards and Hoyer Lifts
