Job summary

Right at Home in Fresno, CA is hiring compassionate caregivers for in-home non-medical care. Responsibilities include personal care, grooming, mobility assistance, meal prep, and transportation to appointments. Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and pass a background check.

PM shifts 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm; home environment with supportive team. We value professionalism, integrity, and safety, offering orientation, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have English literacy for job tasks.
• Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• TB skin test acceptable if not older than 90 days.
• HCA Registration assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care activities of daily living.
• Assist with dressing/grooming.
• Assist with ambulation/transfers (lift up to 50 lbs).
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Care for bed-bound clients.
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and slides.
• Provide companionship.

A homecare aide provides for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. A homemaker/companion provide non-medical home care which include: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more! Our goal is to help our senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home.

We are hiring care providers who have ALL the skills and experience with:

Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.

The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.

Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday:PM Shifts 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Essential Responsibilities:

• Performs personal care activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Assist with Dressing/Grooming

• Performs light housekeeping activities
• Medication reminders

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
• HCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment)
• TB Skin test (can accept completed TB test not older than 90 days)
