Bay Aging is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Aide to deliver in‑home care services to clients in Colonial Beach, VA. You will follow the RN‑supervised care plan, assist with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping and accompany clients to appointments, while maintaining client safety and privacy.
Strong communication with clients and families, and timely documentation are essential. A PCA certificate, CPR and health screenings are required, with full‑time hours and a sign‑on bonus opportunity.

Location: Colonial Beach
Deliver in-home care services to Bay Aging clients so they can live safely in the community. Provide personal care, health and safety monitoring and light housekeeping. Introduce and coach new Personal Care Aides in the field. Perform administrative work in the office to complete a full-time schedule every week. Report to the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor.
Perform a limited number of routine tasks prescribed by clients’ care plan. Work independently throughout the day. Report to supervisor any change in the client’s environment, physical or mental condition.
Working knowledge of:
Has knowledge of medical equipment on usage and basic maintenance such as Hoyer lift, gait belt, wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, catheters, glucometer and any specialized equipment required by the care plan.
Stay current in the knowledge of their profession by completing at least 12 hours of in‑service annually
The work is performed in the client’s home and in public areas. It requires repeated standing, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing and lifting of weights up to 25lbs unassisted. Regular night, weekend and holiday work required on a regular basis. None of the essential functions of the position can be performed virtually away from the assigned places of work.
