Job summary

Right at Home Torrance is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide (HCA) to support seniors and vulnerable adults in their own homes in Torrance, CA. You will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care to promote independence and well-being.

You will work with a dedicated care team, communicating with clients and families to ensure seamless care, while following care plans and safety protocols. Training and ongoing development are available.

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide (HCA) certification or willingness to obtain.
• Home Care Aide (HCA) training or experience in caregiving.
• Ability to lift, bend, and move safely while providing care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation and outings.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care as needed.

• Assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care services as needed

• Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our clients

• Communicating effectively with clients, families, and care staff to ensure seamless care coordination

• Home Care Aide (HCA) responsibilities may also include bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as managing medical conditions and medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse
