Job summary

One You Love Homecare Skokie is seeking an Agency Manager to lead day-to-day operations, shape growth, and ensure compliance with Illinois regulations. You’ll oversee scheduling, billing, and client services while building a capable team of caregivers and office staff.

The role requires strong leadership, a healthcare background, and a dementia certification or equivalent experience. Reporting to the owner, you’ll manage intakes, care plans, audits, and licensing readiness, with after-hours

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of management experience in home care, healthcare, or a related service industry.
• Bachelor's in healthcare administration, business, or related field or equivalent real-world experience.
• Dementia certification (NCCDP Certified Dementia Practitioner, Alzheimer's Association EssentiALZ, or Certified Dementia Specialist) or 2+ years of dementia-care leadership experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations — ensure smooth workflows and full regulatory compliance.
• Own agency policies, procedures, and service standards, including scheduling, billing, and client service.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and develop caregivers and office staff.
• Ensure shifts are covered and handle call-outs and emergencies with a calm plan.
• Conduct comprehensive intakes and build individualized care plans; be the point of contact for families.
• Maintain meticulous records, run quality audits, and prepare for licensing inspections.
• Uphold OSHA, infection-control, and universal-precaution standards; keep safety practices current.
• Support management of the agency budget, including hours, margin, and growth.
• Serve as after-hours contact and backstop for shift coverage.
