Touchmark is hiring a Home Care Administrative Assistant in Bend, Oregon. You will help with onboarding, training, scheduling, and coordinating care plans while assisting residents and families with inquiries and billing processes.

The role involves handling insurance communications, service documentation, and emergency response duties in a fast-paced, people-first environment. This is a full-time position with benefits and a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college preferred.
• Two years of home health or administrative office experience or equivalent.
• Caregiving experience preferred; strong typing and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and train new hires.
• Keep care notes and service plans accurate.
• Coordinate with scheduler and Home Care Administrator on day-to-day operations.
• Manage insurance communication and billing coordination.
• Assist with new resident inquiries from first conversation through to becoming a client.
• Assist with resident assessments.
• Field questions from resident families with patience and discretion.
• Step in to cover caregiving duties when schedules need it.
• Serve as a first responder to emergencies and contribute to the on-call bench.
• Handle general administrative support, scheduling review, and record keeping.

Home Care Administrative Assistant — Touchmark

No two days look the same in this role, and that's exactly the point. One minute you're cross-checking caregiver hours before payroll runs, the next you're stepping in as a caregiver yourself because a visit needs covering and a resident is counting on it. You're the person who keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes and the friendly face residents and families see when they walk through the door — someone who can juggle insurance paperwork, billing, and a ringing phone without missing a beat, and who genuinely enjoys the chaos of a fast-paced, people-first environment.

Salary range: $23.50 - 27.50 per hour depending on experience

This is a full-time, 40/hour week position, benefit eligible

What You'll Do

• Onboard and train new hires

What you'll bring:

a high school diploma (some college preferred), two years of home health or adminstrative office experience or equivalent, caregiving experience preferred, strong typing and Excel skills, and the discretion to handle sensitive information with care.
