Job summary

Integrated Services of Kalamazoo (ISK) seeks a full-time Home-Based Therapist to deliver intensive community-based therapy to children and families in Kalamazoo County. You will provide weekly individual and family sessions, crisis response, and case management, collaborating with ISK and local agencies to support youth and families.

The role requires a Master's in Social Work, active LMSW/LLMSW/LPC/LLP licensure, and at least two years of relevant experience; a Michigan driver's license is

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive community-based treatment for children with serious emotional disabilities and/or substance use disorders and their families.
• Deliver weekly individual and family therapy, case management and crisis response.
• Coordinate with ISK, Circuit Court Family Division, DHHS and schools in a family-centered model.

Minimum Starting Salary: $61,796.80 (Commensurate with experience)

What You Will Be Doing
Working full-time as aHome-Based Therapistyou will be responsible forproviding intensive community-based treatment for children with serious emotional disabilities and/or substance use disorders and their families. Our home-based program is seeking an enthusiastic, diversity minded, creative professional to provide culturally responsive intensive weekly individual and family therapy, as well as case management services and crisis response. In the role as aHome-Based Therapist, you will work closely with multiple public service systems, including ISK, Circuit Court Family Division, DHHS and the public schools to provide services within a family-centered model.

What We Require
You will have a Master's degree in Social Work or a related human services field and licensure as anLLMSW, LMSW, LLPP or LPC. Two years of experience working with children and family treatment is required. A valid Michigan driver's license is required. Bilingual candidate preferred.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Physical Efforts– Job demands include prolonged sitting and standing as appropriate. May occasionally require light lifting up to 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or bending as appropriate. Requires coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot.
Working Conditions– Office environment with noise from computers, copy machines, and telephones. Use of a computer screen for periods in excess of 30 minutes at a time. Possible eyestrain from extended periods of viewing computer screens. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and parasites. Travel throughout the Kalamazoo area is required.
