Job summary

Stride, Inc. seeks a Student Support Advisor Substitute (contractor) in Michigan to raise student and Learning Coach engagement and drive academic growth. The role supports MTSS and builds strong relationships with students and families.

This is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with Start: 2026-11-02 and End: 2027-06-04. Residency in Michigan is required. Compensation is $18.00 per hour, with a home-based setup and some in-office days as determined.

Qualifications

• Two years of college and two years of experience in education or equivalent.
• Ability to pass required background check.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; web proficiency.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
• Experience with online learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a caseload of students to increase engagement through interventions.
• Provide proactive support to students using data resources.
• Guide onboarding experience for students and Learning Coaches.
• Serve as primary point of contact between students, Learning Coaches and teachers.
• Pursue ongoing education to meet evolving student needs.
