Job summary

Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents is seeking a coordinator to implement and oversee the Home-Based Program in collaboration with districts and ACCEPT. Responsibilities include hiring/training staff, evaluating referrals, and providing district consultation.

The role requires a Master’s in special education, BCBA certification, and at least two years of relevant experience. Location is on-site in Natick, MA with leadership responsibilities across programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in special education or related field required.
• BCBA certification required.
• At least two years relevant experience requested.
• Alternative qualifications may be considered per leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procedures for screening incoming students.
• Complete intake and provide written evaluations/recommendations.
• Consult with districts on student/family needs.
• Provide consultation and support to ACCEPT programs.
• Liaise between ACCEPT and districts for home-based services.
• Attend Team Meetings and report on Home-Based services.
• Develop strategies to address behavioral issues at home/school.
• Ensure carry-over of programs between home and school.
• Document progress and write progress reports.
• Supervise home-based staff and schedule staff in placements.
• Screen incoming referrals and develop goals/objectives.
• Recruit, hire, and train Home-Based staff.
• Review staff timesheets and consult with Director of Special Education.
• Schedule and assign home/school placements.
• Conduct professional development workshops.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
