Job summary

Eddy SeniorCare is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant for home-based care. You will collaborate with a team of Physical Therapists to manage a caseload of patients recovering post-acute or subacute in their homes.

We offer thorough orientation and mentorship, with strong management support and modern equipment to empower your clinical impact. Mileage reimbursement is provided and safety is prioritized in every visit.

Qualifications

• NYS PTA licensure required.
• Minimum one year of PTA experience with adults/geriatrics.
• Home care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to manage a home-based caseload (post-acute or subacute).
• Promote/provide physical therapy services in the home to improve functioning.
• Evaluate and treat individuals with neurological, orthopedic and medical deficits.
• Care for one patient at a time.
• Start and end your day from home after training.
