Job summary

Eddy VNRA is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for full-time home health in the New York area. You will receive orientation and mentorship with strong management support, enabling you to work independently from home after training.

Requirements include NYS PTA licensure and at least 1 year of experience with adults or geriatric patients; home-care experience is preferred but not required. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• NYS PTA licensure required.
• Minimum one year of experience working with adult and/or geriatric population.
• Home-care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and provide physical therapy services in the home to assist the patient in achieving his/her optimal level of functioning.
• Evaluate and treat individuals with functional deficits secondary to neurologic, orthopedic, and medical conditions.
• Care for one patient at a time.
• Once trained, enjoy the independence of starting and ending your day from home.
