Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services Inc. in California is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our home-based Early Intervention team serving infants, toddlers, and families.

You will assess development, provide physical therapy in natural environments, and collaborate with families to meet IFSP goals. We offer flexible schedules, sign-on bonus up to $1000, mileage reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• CA Physical Therapy license (DPT) required.
• Pediatric experience in Early Intervention preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide physical therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with families to develop development goals.
• Use family-centered coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in homes, daycare centers and community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
