Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. seeks licensed Physical Therapists to provide home-based early intervention to infants and toddlers in California.

You will assess development, deliver PT services, and work with families to promote skill acquisition in the child’s natural environment. The role offers a flexible schedule, mileage reimbursement, and eligibility for medical, dental, and vision benefits, sick time, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• CA Physical Therapy license (DPT) required.
• Experience with pediatric early intervention highly desirable.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide physical therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon) in the child’s natural environment.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help the child reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and ensure progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in homes, daycares and community settings.
• Perform re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information in line with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
