Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. seeks licensed Pediatric Physical Therapists for home-based Early Intervention services across California. You will assess infants and toddlers, collaborate with families, and deliver therapy in the child’s natural environment to promote developmental goals.

Qualifications

• California Physical Therapy license (DPT) required.
• Pediatric early intervention experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills required.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide physical therapy using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and collaborate with families to develop development goals.
• Use family-centered coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment—home, daycare, or community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information in line with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
