Job summary

Rehab at Home Healthcare Services seeks a passionate Occupational Therapist to provide home-based therapy, evaluate and plan care, and collaborate with families. Candidates must hold a Texas OT license and preferably have home care or pediatric experience.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
License from the State of Texas as an Occupational Therapist
Valid Texas Driver’s License
Experience in the home care setting is preferred but not required.
Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, and establish individualized plans of care.
Provide interventions focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care/ADLs, and visual-motor integration.
Complete documentation to support the delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
Measure performance and report on patient’s medical record.
Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as appropriate.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards.
Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge.
