Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, through Colorado Plains Medical Center Home Care, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant - Per Diem to deliver home-based therapy and help patients regain physical function. You will work under the supervision of an OT and adhere to state laws and the plan of care.

The role offers a per diem schedule with hourly pay between $25.35 and $38.05, plus a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing occupational therapy in home care and the supervising OT's treatment plan.
• Instruct and aid patients in evidence-based therapy within scope and state law.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Educate patient, family, caregiver, and health team on therapy within OTA scope.
• Provide services regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
