Rust-Oleum Corporation seeks an Industrial Specialist for the Midwest Zone to drive sales of the industrial product line to MRO accounts, OEMs, and professional painting contractors within a large geographic territory.

The role covers AL, AR, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MN, MO, MS, ND, NE, OH, OK, SD, TN, TX, WI with 40–50% travel. Ideal candidates reside near Louisville, KY, Dallas, TX or Chicago, IL and have strong presentation skills.

Formación

• 1-3 years of previous paint & coatings outside sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Protective & Marine products, Industrial Flooring products, and application methods; market dynamics and trends in coatings.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in business-related field or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prospecting for new business and supporting existing accounts to grow sales in Industrial, MRO, OEM and Protective Marine markets.
• Collect reliable customer/territory information and estimate potential.
• Develop weekly selling plan and conduct sales calls; document in Weekly Call Reports.
• Conduct product demos to support the selling process.
• Manage customer complaints within authority and drive to resolution.
• Maintain contact with customers to identify opportunities and present new products.
• Ensure pricing and service levels with customer service.
• Manage territory expense budgets and achieve quarterly sales and margin targets.
