Mazak Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, repair, and service machines at customer sites across the Seattle region, traveling from home with overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical training in electronics, mechanical or machine tool assembly
• High School Diploma

Responsibilities

• Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
• Install machines and accessories at customer sites with installation, leveling, aligning, adjusting, calibrating and wiring
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software problems on machines and accessories at customer sites
• Test operation of machines and accessories after installation or repair
• Train customers on functions of the machines
• Learn new machine features and accessories as they become available
• Complete reports documenting installation, assessment of reported problem, repairs completed, parts installed
• Travel is required with overnight or multi-night stays
• Utilize various test equipment for troubleshooting (indicators, test bars, clamp force, gauges)
